25,000 tribal devotees to take holy dip

Around 25,000 devotees from tribal communities across the country are expected to reach Maha Kumbh to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. The gathering will be from 6 February to 10 February.

One of the major highlights will be a grand “shobha yatra” on 7 February in which tribal seers and devotees would take part. They will head to the Sangam where they will take a holy dip.

Apart from this, 150 tribal dance troupes from various regions will perform traditional dances and music, sending out a message of unity through the theme “Tu Main Ek Rakt (you and I are one blood).”

These cultural performances will take place on 7, 8 and 9 February.

The event will culminate on 10 February with a special conference of tribal seers who have gathered at the Maha Kumbh from different parts of the country.

Spiritual leaders will share their insights on religion and culture.
