Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani attends Maha Kumbh Mela

Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani attended the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela, the world's largest religious gathering, with his family on 21 January.

Gautam Adani, his wife, Priti Adani, the Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, their sons, Karan Adani, the Managing Director of Adani Ports and SEZ Limited (APSEZ), and Jeet Adani, Director, Adani Airport Holdings Ltd; along with Karan Adani's wife Paridhi Adani and daughter offered prayers at the Triveni Sangam.

Gautam Adani visited the camp of ISKCON temple, offered prayers and helped in the preparation of Mahaprasad. He also served the sacred meal to devotees and later joined them in having the Mahaprasad, along with his family.

Gautam Adani took a boat ride with his family and participated in Ganga Puja rituals. He also visited Lete Hanuman Ji Temple and offered prayers.

The Adani Group and the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) have joined hands to serve meals to devotees at the Maha Kumbh Mela. The Mahaprasad will be offered every day for the entire duration of the fair, which will end on February 26.

Gautam Adani also visited the Gita Press stall on the mela grounds.

The Adani Group has collaborated with Gita Press for free distribution of one crore copies of "Aarti Sangrah" among the devotees at Maha Kumbh.

After the visit, Gautam Adani spoke to reporters and thanked the Uttar Pradesh administration, sanitation workers and police personnel for organising and managing the Maha Kumbh Mela, which is expected to draw about 40 crore devotees. "My experience at Prayagraj Maha Kumbh was wonderful. The management here is a subject of research for the management institutes," he said. "Nothing is better than the blessings of Maa Ganga.”
