Double-Decker Bus Restaurant Opens At Maha Kumbh

A Kumbh Mela got a new food spot recently with a double-decker bus restaurant (being hailed as the first of its kind in UP) opening to serve the visitors. Named "Pumpkin", the food joint is located near the media centre at Manveer Godra. Pumpkin can seat 25 people at once and serves vegetarian food. While the kitchen has been set up on the lower floor of the bus, the upper deck has been converted to a dining area. According to PTI, the food prices are "economical” and dishes specifically meant for people on a fast will also be available on special occasions, as per reports.

The Pumpkin brand has been started at Maha Kumbh and there are plans to launch it later at various religious places like Varanasi, Mathura and Ayodhya, PTI reported.

Recently, quick-commerce service Blinkit had set up a temporary store at the Maha Kumbh Mela.
