Coldplay’s Chris Martin Reaches Maha Kumbh Mela

After back-to-back electrifying performances in Ahmedabad, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and his partner Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, reached Prayagraj on 27 January.

A video surfaced on social media in which the couple can be seen arriving at the Maha Kumbh Mela. The footage, shared by ANI, captures them inside a car, surrounded by enthusiastic onlookers. Chris could be seen interacting with the crowds as well.

The couple arrived in India on 16 January, along with other members of the band. Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres concerts were lined up in Mumbai and in Ahmedabad on 25 and 26 January.

During the Republic Day show in Ahmedabad, Chris paid a heartfelt tribute to India by singing patriotic songs. He ended the concert with a “Salute to Mother India” and extended Republic Day wishes to everyone.

Coldplay concerts have been huge crowd pullers in India. Their two shows in Ahmedabad had a combined tally for more than two lakh people.
